Bowling Green rallies past TinCaps

Bowling Green's Phil Wuderlich hit a three-run home run in the top of the ninth inning and the Hot Rods held on for a 6-3 victory in front of 7,380 fans Wednesday at Parkview Field.

The home run to right field broke a 3-3 tie. The TinCaps held a 3-0 lead after four innings.

Luis Domoromo went 4 for 4 with a home run and two RBI for the TinCaps.

Kevin Kiermaier, a Bishop Luers graduate, went 2 for 4 with four stolen bases, one run scored and a sacrifice bunt for Bowling Green. He singled in the first inning, reached on an error in the third and tripled and scored in the fifth.
