  • Ex-TinCap Mallex Smith voted minors' top offensive player
    Mallex Smith, who was the TinCaps' center fielder for the 2013 season and the first half of 2014, was voted by fans as the top offensive player in the minor leagues during the past season.

TinCaps tied after seven innings

Bowling Green's Cody Rogers hit a two-run home run in the seventh inning and the Hot Rods and TinCaps are tied at 3 after seven innings.

Dan Killian hit a solo home run in the fourth inning for Fort Wayne to give the team a 3-1 lead. Rogers' home run, just over the left-center field wall, tied the game.

Luis Domoromo is 3 for 3 with a home run and two RBI for the TinCaps.

Kevin Kiermaier, a Bishop Luers graduate, is 2 for 4 with four stolen bases and one run scored for Bowling Green. He singled in the first inning, reached on an error in the third and tripled and scored in the fifth.
