Wide open spaces

Well, this cannot be good news if your sporting fancy runs to cheering for a guy named Dale Junior, and howling over the latest rasslin' match between Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch, aka Jackwagon One and Jackwagon Two.

The most alarming part: Speedway president Jeff Belskus actually admitting that there's likely to be more empty seats at the Brickyard this year -- a startling admission from the head of a place that tends to regard attendance talk the way the Kremlin once regarded ... well, talk about anything, pretty much.

Brickyard 400 it was. Crickets 400, apparently, it will be now.
