Notre Dame adds 2nd safety recruit, reports say

Notre Dame added an eighth oral commitment and a second safety for its 2012 recruiting class, according to multiple reports Thursday night.

C.J. Prosise, a 6-foot-2, 190-pounder from Woodberry Forest, Va., chose the Irish. Prosise’s decision was reported by Irish Illustrated, Irish Sports Daily and

Prosise is a three-star recruit, according to 247Sports.

He had 42 tackles and seven interceptions for Woodberry Forest High School as a junior.

Prosise joins Nicky Baratti as a safety recruit for the Irish.
