Wes Cunningham had three hits and two RBI for the TinCaps in a 5-1 victory against Great Lakes. Cunningham also scored a run, helping Fort Wayne to the win in the first of a 10-game homestand.

Key at-bat: Cunningham knocked in two runs with a two-out opposite field single to left field. All five Fort Wayne runs were scored with two outs.

Key out(s): Great Lakes had the potential for a big first inning. One run was already in, and the Loons had a runner on first with no outs. Blake Dean hit a grounder up the middle. TinCaps shortstop Pat McKenna fielded the ball, stepped on second and fired to first for a double play.

Raising money: The TinCaps wore pink jerseys, which were auctioned off after the game. More than $3,500 was raised for the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.
