Mandy Reber, executive director of Boys and Girls Club of Huntington County, was named Professional of the Year at the Indiana Area Council Meeting in Indianapolis. The award is based on accomplishments for the club on the local level, involvement with the Boys and Girls Club movement on a state, regional and/or national level, and community involvement and service beyond the organization.

Nathaniel Woods joined Design Collaborative as a graduate architect. Woods earned his bachelor of science in architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.

The Volunteer Lawyer Program of Northeast Indiana presented its annual volunteer attorney awards at the Allen County Public Library.
