TinCaps lead after 3 innings

Fort Wayne leads Great Lakes 3-0 after three innings of the second game of a doubleheader Sunday.

Rico Noel hit a three-run home run in the third inning.

Earlier, Noel was involved in a triple play.

Fort Wayne had runners on second and third with no outs. Luis Domoromo hit a liner to center. Rymer Liriano thought the ball was going to fall in for a hit. He was wrong. Center fielder Joc Pederson caught the ball and then threw it into second to double up Domoromo.

Noel decided then decided to try to score from third. Second baseman Casio Grider threw home and Noel was tagged out during a collision at the plate.
