Big first inning for TinCaps

Fort Wayne leads Great Lakes 6-0 after three innings in the first game of a doubleheader Sunday. All six runs came in the first inning.

Rymer Liriano hit a two-run home run. Jose Dore walked with the bases loaded to stretch the lead to 3-0. Emmanuel Quiles followed with a two-run single to center.

B.J. Guinn hit a sacrifice fly to right, scoring Dore with the sixth run.

Fort Wayne pitcher Adys Portillo has not given up a hit in his three innings. He has five strikeouts and has walked two batters.
