INDIANAPOLIS -- And welcome to Race Day, everyone.

It's sunny (Say what?), hot, breezy and -- even better news -- everyone got through the start without introducing himself or herself to the famously cruel Indianapolis concrete. In other words: It was a clean start.

Scott Dixon led the first lap, but polesitter Alex Tagliani, after initially dropping back, leads Dixon by half a second on lap 15.
