TinCaps, Clinton tied at 8 after 6

And welcome back. It’s been a while.

A pitcher’s duel, it has not been at Parkview Field on Thursday.

We’re at the end of six innings between the TinCaps and the Clinton LumberKings, and it’s taken us 2 1/2 hours to get here.

Going into the top of the seventh, the game is tied 8-8.

Here’s the inning-by-inning scoring linescore so far for the TinCaps: 111 311.

The most significant moment came when TinCaps third baseman Jake Blackwood injured his right hand or arm while sliding back into second base on a pickoff attempt. Medica, whose double to left field tied the game at 8, immediately left the game.
