Clinton leads TinCaps after 3

Just in case you get off work late, come on over to Parkview Field to see the end of the TinCaps-Clinton game. I’m sure it will still be going on.

It’s the end of the third, and Clinton leads 5-3. It’s taken an hour, 10 minutes to play three innings. If the math is correct, we’re looking at a 3 1/2-hour pace.

Not only has there not been a 1-2-3 half inning, but each team has scored in all three at-bats.

Clinton scored three in the first, one in the second and one more in the third.

The TinCaps got a home run from Rymer Liriano in the bottom of the first, strung three hits together for a run in the second, then got a home run in the third from Luis Domoromo.

I’ll check back after the sixth inning. Give me a couple hours.
