TinCaps defeat Kane County

Adys Portillo won his first game of the season as Fort Wayne defeated Kane County 5-0 in front of 7,263 fans Friday at Parkview Field.

Portillo gave up one hit in five innings to improve to 1-6. Ryan Stovall's one-out double in the fourth was the Cougars' only hit of the game.

Fort Wayne's Jake Blackwood had two hits and scored two runs on the same day he was named a starter for the Midwest League All-Star game. Connor Powers had two RBI on the same day he was added to the roster from extended spring training.
