The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees will return to the CHL next season, but they will do so with a new ownership group, led by Joe Sukulenzki. The majority of this ownership group held the team from its inception in 2003 through 2007. With Colorado going to the ECHL, Odessa to the North American Hockey League and Quad City folding, it looks as if the CHL will have 15 teams next season, but membership will be finalized at league meetings this weekend in Phoenix.
