Statement issued by the Embassy Theatre:

Fort Wayne, Ind. – Area families are invited to participate in the Embassy’s first-ever summer program for children entering grades 1-5 on Wednesday, June 22, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Tickets are $5 each. Please call the Embassy box office for reservations Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Space is limited and reservations are first come first serve.

Embassy Summer Trips activities include:

• See vintage silent movies with live accompaniment by the Grande Page Pipe Organ
• Watch the stage crew remove the movie screen and put the organ into storage
• Enjoy free popcorn
• Follow an experienced guide on a tour of the theater
• Participate in up to nine creative projects including:
• Creating a paper mosaic in the style of the Italian mosaic floor
• Making a rubbing of textured Italian tiles in the Indiana Hotel Lobby
• Learning to draw one of the unique architectural features of the theater
• Using your own camera, learn to photograph ornate architectural features
