Fort Wayne poker player wins H.O.R.S.E. tourney, $289,283

A man from Fort Wayne has won the 2011 World Series of Poker $1,500 buy-in H.O.R.S.E. championship.

The WSOP news website said Aaron Steury, 24, has also won a gold bracelet, for those who have lifetime winnings of at least $500,000.

It said this is the fourth year Steury has attended the competition in Las Vegas and that online winnings are part of his lifetime amount.

For victory in this tournament, Steury collected $289,283 for first place, it said.
