The TinCaps face Dayton in a doubleheader, with Zach Cates the starter for Game 1. Cates is 1-4 with a 4.44 ERA. He is making his first start of the year against the Dragons.

In other TinCaps news, outfielder Rymer Liriano was named the Midwest League Player of the Week. It's the second time in three weeks he has received the honor.

Liriano went 15 for 28 (.536) with a double, two home runs, five RBI and seven stolen bases. On Wednesday, he went 5 for 6. It was the first time a Fort Wayne hitter had a five-hit game since Cedric Hunter did it in August 2007.
