B.J. Guinn scored on a fielder's choice in the eighth inning, lifting the TinCaps to a 1-0 victory against Dayton in front of 4,302 fans Wednesday at Parkview Field.

Guinn reached on a bunt single and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt. Rico Noel singled, placing runners on first and third.

Mykal Stokes followed by hitting a one-hopper to first. Donald Lutz knocked the ball down, picked it up and then fired home.

Guinn reached the plate ahead of catcher Tucker Barnhart's tag for the game's only run.
