Rain, rain ... goes away

A quick pregame interview with Carroll athletic director Dan Ginder ended with a question (more like a request) to the reporter.

“Hey, can you do anything about the (impending) rain?” Ginder asked about 60 minutes before the Class 4A state championship game Saturday at Victory Field.

Well, sorry Dan I can’t (and didn’t).

But the game is still going to happen. After a 90-minute rain delay, the 4A rematch between the Chargers and Indianapolis Cathedral will begin around 8:37 p.m.
