I love to read my crafty friends' blogs, they inspire me, make me smile and, occasionally, give me blog topics.
For this one, I have to thank Jennifer Cameron of Glass Addictions. Jen is a friend, a bead maker and has contributed ideas and comments for Crafty Living in the last year. I follow her blog on Facebook and when I saw this one, I couldn't help but want to repost.
In reviewing the book Mixed Metal Mania: Solder, rivet, hammer, and wire exceptional jewelry, Jen wrote a post about one idea with in the book. This idea was for organization of your jewelry making tools.
The farm equipment used is a chick feeder. Jen bought hers online and it took a month to get to her. I went into the Tractor Supply Co. store recently and they have them in-stock. So, if you can't wait, you can go buy one to get your tools organized. The 18-inch slide-top was available on the shelf for $4.99. Tractor Supply is the only store I checked, but I imagine other farm supply stores also carry these for immediate pick up.
