TinCaps add first-round draft pick

Cory Spangenberg, the No. 10 overall pick in this year’s draft, was added to the TinCaps roster Wednesday. Spangenberg joined Fort Wayne from San Diego’s short-season team in Eugene, Ore. The infielder had a .384 batting average with one home run, 20 RBI and 10 stolen bases in 25 games with Eugene.

To make room, catcher Jhonaldo Pozo was transferred to advanced-A Lake Elsinore.
