I don't know if this is irony or just water seeking its own level, but here was the big finale to a Randy "Macho Man" Savage Tribute the other night: The promoter (a man of impeccable credentials named Dino Puglia, and, no, you can't make that up) fled the scene claiming cardiac distress after apparently stiffing several of the participants.
Thus ended a full-meal deal fiasco in which both of the two hospitals for which the event was supposed to raise money said they hadn't been contacted about any such arrangement, and several wrestlers who were billed to appear didn't for the excellent reason that they hadn't been contacted, either.
Ah, wrestling. It never disappoints.
