The Allen County SPCA thanks the community for answering the call for cat food, and says in got so much in a few days it’s not sure how it will store it all.
“The immediate action of our community is something each one of us should be proud of that live in northeast Indiana,” said Sofia Rodriguez Mirwaldt, executive director in an email.
“Please consider sending a check or cash to the shelter in lieu of bags or cans of food if you would like to help sustain our program for the needy families as well as our program for homeless pets. We can put it in a fund to utilize as our surplus depletes.”
We’ve attached a photo the SPCA sent of just some of the food.
“Thank you from the bottom of all of our paws at the Allen County SPCA and beyond,” Rodriguez Mirwaldt said.
