Everything must go

And so the Great Garage Sale is on.

Anyone (and by anyone, we mean Miami or Minnesota) want a used but still serviceable Donovan McNabb? How about a barely scratched Kevin Kolb (we're talking to you, Arizona)? A worn Matt Hasselbeck, perhaps?

And look who the Cowboys just put out in the driveway: Wide receiver Roy Williams, running back Marion Barber and All-Pro offensive lineman Leonard Davis.

There's some choice daydreaming there if you're a fan of the Indianapolis Colts, who could use some help up front for an O-line whose tread is starting to get thin, or may or may not soon be in the market for a north-south running back to take a little heat off Peyton Manning. And there's a solid veteran wideout (Derrick Mason) available, too, suddenly.

The only thing that punctures the daydreaming, of course, is the Colts rarely do any serious cruising through the free agent market. And the only reason we're talking about it now is because all the free agents are up for grabs at once because of the lockout.

Still ... it's worth cognitating about.
