Loons defeat TinCaps

Great Lakes scored five runs in the eighth inning and pulled away for a 9-2 victory against Fort Wayne in front of 5,389 fans Monday at Parkview Field.

The Loons took two of three from the TinCaps to regain sole possession of the second playoff spot in the Eastern Division.

Rymer Liriano had three hits for Fort Wayne.
