Purdue unveiled new football jerseys Thursday. The two combinations for home games are black top, gold pants; and black top, black pants. The three combinations for road games are white top, black pants; white top, gold pants; and white top white pants. The black tops feature all gold numbers on the chest, back and sleeves and the player names on the back, with gold trim under both sleeves.

Both tops have the Purdue train logo centered just below the collar. The white tops feature all black numbers on the chest, back and sleeves and the player names on the back, with black trim under both sleeves. According to a news release, the new tops and pants are lighter and more tight-fitting than the previous uniforms used and the tops are composed of a new Cordura material.
