Wilson on quarterback competition

IU football coach Kevin Wilson discussed the team's quarterback situation during Tuesday's media day. He did not name a starter, and reversed field a bit in his stance on the possibility of playing two quarterbacks. "Don't have a timeline or a time table. We did throw Tre Roberson in the mix, and for a young guy, he has a nice little presences. He communicates well." Wilson said five players are in the mix. The list is Dusty Kiel, Edward Wright-Baker, Adam Follett, Teddy Schell and Roberson.

"We'll probably go through the first week before we really discuss where we think they are," Wilson said. "… They are all carrying themselves well." Wilson said possibly by Saturday the team will have a "little more of a direction of where we're going." As for a possible platoon situation, Wilson said "I'm not adverse to playing two, I just don't want a guy looking over his shoulder every time he messes up, playing on eggshells."
