I started a new project this weekend. It's graphghan (a topic we'll cover in an upcoming column) and the base is black.

Man, my eyes don't handle that like they used to. Mind you, I'm not complaining, but staring at a sea of black half-double crochets made my eyes go cross.

I can tell that this project will be one that will get put down often to give me a break.
