All God's children got issues

You know how some people say they love NASCAR because it's not like the NBA or NFL, and you never read in the paper about any of them getting arrested for stuff, like, um, marijuana trafficking?

Well ... ahem.

Three things about this:

1. I can't remember the last time an NBA or NFL player got arrested for drug trafficking. But of course, they're all a bunch of criminals.

2. Am I the only one who finds a certain inconsistency in the fact that NASCAR trumpets its zero-tolerance policy for marijuana, and then I turn on the TV and there's Matt Kenseth driving a car sponsored by an intoxicant (Crown Royal)?

3. How much of a colossal failure is the alleged War on Drugs when even guys who are employed by one of the most rigidly anti-drug corporations in America are ordering pot-to-go by the pound?
