FORT WAYNE, IND., August 15, 2011 – Starting next week, remodeling construction will begin at Fire Station #1 at 419 E. Main Street.
As a result, beginning Monday, August 22, 2011, we will be suspending our walk-in blood pressure screenings at Fire Station #1.
Patrons seeking blood pressure checks are invited to visit any other Fort Wayne Fire Station throughout the city between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Citizens can visit www.fortwaynefiredepartment.org for a complete listing of fire station locations.
The Fort Wayne Fire Department plans to resume screenings at Station #1 in June, 2012.
