The temperature, particularly overnight in northeast Indiana, is dipping into the 50s. It's a great respite from the triple digit temps that defined a great many days in July.
And, I know this will earn me the stink-eye from many friends, I'm ever so grateful to think of the inevitable autumn days. With the cooler temps, I find myself wanting to work more with yarn. I've taken a fairly big break from fiber work over the last several months, but these cooler temps are inspiring me to tackle larger projects that have been on my mind.
So, I've started two large blanket projects and tonight, I will tackle a crochet Amigurumi crab for a friend.
(Note: By way of warning, the above pattern I've linked to can be confusing at first, I found it helpful to copy and paste the text and re-write the pattern taking out the author's "code".)
What projects are you itching to tackle as the weather cools?
