The TinCaps collected 16 hits in a 10-2 victory against West Michigan in front of 7,884 fans Friday at Parkview Field.

Key at-bat: B.J. Guinn singled with the bases loaded in the first inning. Two runs scored on the hit. A third run scored on a fielding error by center fielder Luis Castillo, giving the TinCaps a 5-1 lead.

Key out(s): Keyvius Sampson struck out the side in the second inning. Sampson finished with six strikeouts to improve to 10-2.

Playoff push: Fort Wayne is two games ahead of Great Lakes for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Division. The Loons lost to Dayton, 3-2.
