Shooter's Comments:

I always hate shooting funerals because I feel like a heartless person. However, sometimes as a photojournalist you have to put your emotions aside for a moment and document what is going on and react later.

Alina BigJohny's funeral was Friday and I took photos outside of the funeral home, across Winchester Road. I brought my 300 mm with an extender so that I could capture moments of people walking out. I had a few moments of friends embracing each other.

This is such a horrible sad story. My heart goes out for this family.
