Here's Indiana's coach Kevin Wilson's take on Ball State.
"It's really difficult, you're playing an opener and you are playing against a new staff," Wilson said during the Big Ten teleconference. "We're watching tape from Elon, their special teams coordinator came from Louisiana Lafayette. We're watching Ball State from last year, Elon from last year to get schemes.
"… They have a great new coaching staff."
Wilson said the team is looking forward to playing at Lucas Oil Stadium
"We have a lot of state kids, both Indiana and Ball State, it's a great opportunity for both fan bases. I'm interested to see if our fan bases will come out and support both programs. A lot of alumni for both of those schools live in the metro of Indianapolis.
"I do think it's an opportunity for both teams to energize their teams with the uniqueness of playing in a pro venue."
