Statement issued by Huntington University:
HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Huntington University’s Joe Mertz Center for Volunteer Service will host a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 14 in the upper level of the Habecker Dining Commons.
The Joe Mertz Center hosts four blood drives each year in conjunction with the American Red Cross.
Individuals who are interested in donating blood may register online at www.givelife.org or in person in the dining commons at Huntington University. Walk-ins are also acceptable, but everyone participating must have a photo ID. The blood drive is open to the public.
The JMC is also asking for volunteers to help on the day of the drive.
