Tied with West Michigan for the last playoff spot out of the Midwest League's Eastern Division -- both teams are 35-30 in the second half -- the TinCaps are putting Todd Privett and his 3-3 record and 3.60 ERA on the mound tonight at Parkview Field.

His opponent: Mike Bolsinger, who is 6-6 with a 2.73 ERA for South Bend.

So we have a battle of .500 pitchers.

Fort Wayne has lost four in a row. South Bend has won 5 of 6.

I guess that's advantage Silver Hawks, but we'll see.
