TinCaps lead after six innings

Fort Wayne leads South Bend 12-0 after six innings Friday at Parkview Field.

The TinCaps scored six runs in the fourth inning. The team had a season-high nine hits in the inning, all singles. Chris Bisson had a two-run single in the inning.

All nine batters have at least one hit for Fort Wayne.

In Ohio, West Michigan is leading Lake County 2-0 in the bottom of the eighth.

The TinCaps and West Michigan are tied for the last Eastern Division playoff spot and begin a three-game series in Michigan on Saturday.
