IU leads at halftime

Indiana leads Ball State 17-14 at halftime Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Edward Wright-Baker threw a 65-yard touchdown to Damarlo Belcher to give the Hoosiers a 14-7 lead with 12:58 to go in the first half.

Ball State answered with a 15-play, 73-yard drive. Keith Wenning scored on a 1-yard run.

IU recaptured the lead on a 49-yard field goal by Mitch Ewald.

Wright-Baker is 12 of 16 for 159 yards and the one touchdown. Belcher has three catches for 84 yards.

Ball State running back Barrington Scott, from Fort Wayne, caught a 1-yard touchdown pass early in the second quarter.
