WEST LAFAYETTE - Other than former coach Joe Tiller being in the press box (he's doing color commentary for the Big Ten Network), the pregame buzz surrounds Purdue starting quarterback Caleb TerBush.
The days of writing Drew Brees' name as the starting Purdue quarterback are long gone. TerBush, a 6-foot-5 junior, will make his starting debut today when the Boilermakers face Middle Tennessee at Ross-Ade Stadium.
Quite aware of the quarterback history here, a pregame Purdue media release said that TerBush will be the fourth different quarterback to start in as many years. Robert Marve started last year, Joey Elliott started in 2009 and Curtis Painter started in 2008.
