Fort Wayne leads West Michigan 2-1 after six innings Monday at Fifth Third Ballpark in Comstock Park, Mich.

Mike Gallic hit a sacrifice fly to center field in the fourth inning. Rymer Liriano scored to stretch the lead to 2-0.

Hernan Perez knocked in Dixon Machado with a double in the bottom of the fifth for West Michigan’s run.

The TinCaps and Whitecaps are tied for the Eastern Division’s final playoff spot. The winner of today’s game will face Bowling Green in the opening round of the playoffs.
