Rain leads to changes

Game 1 of the best-of-three series between Fort Wayne and Bowling Green was postponed Wednesday because of rain. The contest will start at 7:05 p.m. Thursday at Parkview Field.

Games 2 and 3 (if necessary) will be at Bowling Green, Ky. Both games will start at 8:05 p.m.

Fort Wayne made a change to its pitching rotation. Matt Jackson will pitch Game 1. He was originally scheduled for Game 2. Mark Hardy will start Game 2. He was in line to pitch the opener.

The TinCaps might have ace Keyvius Sampson available for Game 3.

All tickets already purchased for Wednesday's game will be valid for Thursday, same seat location.

Fort Wayne will have its Thirsty Thursday drink promotion and postgame fireworks.

"Everyone is going to have to play in the same weather, everyone is going to have to lace it up the same way. It may help us a little bit for guys whose arms might have been laboring a little bit. I think we'll be ready to go. I don't think it will affect us."
