Matt Jackson gave up one unearned run in six innings, pitching the TinCaps to a 6-3 victory against Bowling Green in Game 1 of the best-of-three first-round series.

Jackson surrendered five hits. He struck out three and walked one.

Cory Spangenberg and Rymer Liriano had three hits for Fort Wayne. Liriano had two RBI and scored a run.
