Lansing leads after three innings

Lansing leads Fort Wayne 1-0 after three innings of Game 1 of the Eastern Division Championship series.

The Lugnuts scored on a strange play in the third inning. Lansing had runners on first and second with one out. Jake Marisnick hit a ground ball to first base. Connor Powers threw to second for the lead out. B.J. Guinn threw back to first, where pitcher Keyvius Sampson was covering. The ball bounced off of Sampson's glove for an error. Oliver Dominguez raced around from second for the game's only run.
