A driver whose car flipped and crashed into a building west of Auburn was in serious but stable condition Sunday, according to Lutheran Hospital staff.
About 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Courtney Miller was driving a 2002 Honda on DeKalb County Road 48 when the car left the road, hit a ramp and flipped into an office of Custer Grain Co., county police said in a written statement.
Police said Miller, 28, of Garrett suffered cuts to his head.
He was flown to Fort Wayne’s Lutheran Hospital by helicopter.
Authorities do not know what caused him to crash into the building near the intersection of County Roads 48 and 19.
The damage to the car was estimated at $5,000, according to county police.
