More inconsistency from the masters

Show of hands, here. Anyone terribly surprised that the NCAA chose to ratchet up the punishment on Boise State while essentially letting Ohio State skate?

Riddle me this: The frauds and moneychangers who run the NCAA refuse to pile on Ohio State because the university had self-imposed a good chunk of punishment already, but they take three more scholarships away from Boise, which had also self-imposed a good chunk punishment in the form of probation?

Gee, this couldn't have anything to do with the fact that Ohio State is a bigger (i.e., more lucrative) bowl draw than Boise, could it?

Naaah.
