Komets bring back Brandon Warner

Single-game tickets on sale Sept. 23

Defenseman Brandon Warner has been added to the Komets' preseason roster, the team announced today.

Warner, 28, a Huntertown native, has played for the club the last four seasons, the K's said in a statement. He had five goals and 17 points in 43 games last year, and has a total of 22 goals, 73 points and 174 penalty minutes during his career in Fort Wayne.

Camp opens Oct. 10, the statement said. The preseason roster now has 29 players -- 17 forwards, 10 defensemen and two goalies.

Also Tuesday, the Komets said single-game tickets for the preseason and regular season will go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 23 at the Coliseum ticket office and online at ticketmaster.com.

The K's have an exhibition game Oct. 16 against Dayton. The regular season opener is Oct. 22 versus Evansville.
