IU leads after three quarters

Indiana leads South Carolina State 31-14 after three quarters Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

Derrick Wiley threw a 5-yard touchdown to Caleb Davis to make it 24-14. The Hoosiers scored on their next possession. D'Angelo Roberts scored on a 7-yard run. It was the third rushing touchdown of the day for IU.

IU tied a school record with 16 penalties. IU was penalized 16 times on Sept. 22, 1962 against Kansas State and Sept. 12, 1998 against Western Michigan.
