Dwenger students donate blankets to Project Linus

I found an email in my inbox today that made me smile. It seems students from Bishop Dwenger High School have been busy making blankets they then donated to the local Project Linus chapter, which provides blankets to children in crisis.

The 42 blankets made by the school's Project Linus club - with help from the Key Club and boys' rugby team - were given to Peggy Albertson, head of the local Project Linus chapter, during morning announcements Sept. 14.

The fabric for the blankets came from donations and a grant from the Youth as Resources program through the Allen County Drug and Alcohol Consortium, according to a news release.
