IPFW freshman tied for lead

It didn't take long for IPFW freshman Eddie Tacket to make his impact felt.

Tacket shot back-to-back rounds of 73 and is tied for first place after 36 holes in the Bowling Green John Piper Intercollegiate tournament in Bowling Green, Ohio.

As a team, the Mastodons are tied for sixth with a 616 total, within striking distance of tournament host Bowling Green, which leads with a 598.

IPFW junior Drew Imel had rounds of 78 and 76, and is tied for 22nd place in the 55-man field.
