Shooter's Comments: Sometimes photojournalists have opportunities to see and experience what our readers don't. It is the extra fun part of covering an assignment for the newspaper. I had the chance to shoot photos during the Cirque du Soleil "Quiam" rehearsal at the Memorial Coliseum. I decided to share this experience with you by shooting a video.

It was rather dark where I shot this photo of Meaghan Wegg, left, and Danila Bim rehearsing. I was instructed not to use a flash because of safety issues. I used a long lens, 80-200 mm, and set the camera on manual at f/2.8. I set the shutter to 1/80 sec and then 1/125 sec at 1600 ASA. I was concerned that the women would blur so I shot several frames and hoped for one moment, at least, when they didn't.
