My take on "Moneyball"

So here are the only two things I have to say right now about the film "Moneyball," which stars Brad Pitt and is adapted from Michael Lewis' book about the Oakland A's stat-geek GM, Billy Beane:

1. I'll probably go see it because I hear it's a well-done film, and I'm a big fan of well-done films (and, ahem, some which are not so well done).

2. It would probably have a much bigger impact if the A's that Beane built with his revolutionary methods weren't, you know, 20 games out of first at the moment.
